Mad Hatter was set up in 2013 with no money, but lots of crazy ideas. We’re now pretty big for a craft beer microbrewery, and along the way we’ve had a pop up bar, worn rabbit masks, had lots of parties, and made more mad beers then we can count. As of 2018, we’re one of the a small number of breweries run by a woman, and we have a renewed focus on quality that we’re placing alongside the importance of Mad beers.

We’re named after all the mad hatters, sent mad by the mercury they used to make top hats shiny. We like to think that our beers as our beers are crazy good that they send us a bit bonkers too. The logo also references the conjuring up of good beers with interesting ingredients and different styles that we make.
